REOPENING OF SCHOOLS, PARENTS HUSTLES

In his last speech to the nation, President yoweri kaguta museveni announced how schools will be reopened for fianalists and candidates. This was both a shock to many parents whose sources of income were entirely down due to the covid-19 pandemic and a blessing to a few parents whose incomes were still stable. Many schools announced on how they will sit and negotiate with parents on how to handle the issue. Academic giants such as UGANDA MARTY'S S.S NAMUGONGO have instead alleviated the fees as the CANDIDATES WERE TOLD TO PAY A SUM OF 2MILLION UGANDA SHILLINGS amidst the veil of problems covering their families. It is at this point that we call upon the government to sit and come up with solutions favouring the low income earners brought about by the pandemic.
